Sue has a career's worth of experience, knowledge and expertise of working in nursing homes, care homes and hospitals, both as part of the management of care homes and care agencies and as part of the care staff.
Disappointed and unsatisfied with the way that many home and social care agencies were run and with the high dependency care services they provided, Sue set up Xtracare Ltd with business-experienced husband Jared to offer a totally different level of home care across West Kent.
During our years in the sector, the agency approach has led to rapid growth, largely through the exceptional efforts of our team of carers, nurses and home care providers, great word of mouth from happy clients and recommendations.
Experienced and fully trained and qualified home care providers
As one of West Kent's leading home care agencies, we invest in our high and low dependency care team, arranging specialist courses in loss and bereavement, dealing with conditions like dementia and Alzheimer's, manual handling and health and safety. We ensure that all our home care providers have, or are working towards, NVQ Level 2 in care and we pay for carers with the potential to do more to take the higher NVQ levels.
Our West Kent home care agency is also recognised as one with exceptionally high quality standards, through being a Social Services Approved Home Care Provider as well through memberships of the Kent Integrated Care Alliance and the Care Quality Commission.
