Sue has a long career's worth of experience, expertise and knowledge of working in hospitals, nursing homes and care homes, both as part of the care staff and also as part of the management of care agencies and care homes.
Disappointed and unsatisfied with the way in which many social and home care agencies were being run and with the high dependency care services they delivered, Sue and business-experienced husband Jared set up Xtracare Ltd to offer a completely different level of care.
During our many years in the home care sector, our company approach has led to rapid growth, largely through recommendations, the incredible efforts from our team of carers, home care providers and nurses and great word of mouth from happy clients.
As one of Kent and Cuxton's leading care agencies, we invest in our low and high dependency care team, arranging specialist courses in manual handling, loss and bereavement, dealing with conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia and health and safety. We make sure that every single one of our home care providers have, or are working towards, NVQ Level 2 in care and we pay for carers with the potential to do more to take the higher NVQ levels.
Our home care agency is also recognised as one with incredibly high quality standards, through memberships of the Kent Integrated Care Alliance and the Care Quality Commission as well as being a Social Services Approved Home Care Provider.
