Sue has a career's worth of experience and knowledge of working in hospitals, nursing homes and care homes, both as part of the care staff and in the management of care agencies and care homes.
Unsatisfied with the way in which many social and home care agencies were being run and with the high dependency care services they delivered, Sue set up Xtracare Ltd with business-experienced husband Jared to offer a completely different level of care.
During our many years in the sector, our company approach has led to rapid growth, largely through great word of mouth from happy Bearsted clients, recommendations and exceptional efforts from our team of home care providers, nurses and carers.
An experienced and dedicated team of home care providers
As one of Kent and Bearsted's leading care agencies, we invest in our low and high dependency care team, arranging specialist courses in manual handling, bereavement and loss, dealing with conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia and health and safety. We ensure that all our home care providers have, or are working towards, NVQ Level 2 in care and we pay for carers with the potential to do more to take the higher NVQ levels.
Our care agency is also recognised as one with incredibly high quality standards, through memberships of the Care Quality Commission and the Kent Integrated Care Alliance as well as through being a Social Services Approved Home Care Provider.
